Hariyali Murgh Hyderabadi Style Recipe | Chicken Hariyali Recipe | Curry | By Shaista’s Kitchen
Prep Tme – 20 minutes
Cooking Time- 30 minutes
Ingredients:
Chicken – 500 gms cut into medium Pieces
Onion – 2 Onions 150 gms
Green Cardamom – 2
Cinnamon – 1 inch
Bay leaf – 1
Cloves – 4-5 pieces
Turmeric Powder – ½ tspn
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tblspn
Beaten Curd – ½ Cup
Cashew Pieces – 6- 8 pieces roasted and ground into a fine paste
Pumpkin seeds – 2 Tspn
Oil – 50- 80 ml
Salt to Taste
Green Chillies – 4-5
Fresh Coriander Leave – ½ Cup
Fresh Mint Leaves – ½ Cup
Method:
• Grind Green Chillies, Mint leaves, Coriander leaves with a a little salt and roasted cashews separately into fine paste.
• Health Oil in a Pan. Add whole Spices
• Add finely chopped onions. Fry till translucent
• Add Ginger Garlic Paste and mix well
• Now add the Chicken Pieces to the Pan
• Fry the Chicken Pieces till coated from all the sides.
• Add Turmeric Powder and the prepared green paste and fry till the Pungent smell of raw chilli diminishes
• Add Beaten Curd till the Oil floats on top
• Add One or 2 Cups of Water
• Cook till the Chicken is done
• Mix the Cashew Paste and fry till the Gravy thicken and the Oil flats on the top.
Serve Hot with Rice or Chapati
